Carolina is an architect dedicated to urban planning who specializes in walkability. She holds a Máster Laboratorio de la Vivienda del Siglo XXI from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2012, she founded Urbanismo Vivo, a dynamic and multidisciplinary urban consulting team that seeks to strengthen the connection between people and the city from a local and human perspective. A professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires, she has been a representative for Jane’s Walk Buenos Aires since 2012, as well as a regional leader for the Placemaking X network and a member of Placemaking Latin America. She is also co-founder of Ciudades Comunes, a collaborative project aimed at co-building cities that are more just, equitable, supportive, and participatory. Previously, she worked at the Buenos Aires Ministry of Transportation in the Department of Pedestrian Interventions (2013–2016).
